Skye was distracted for a moment as she almost found herself outside of the barrier when the hand brought Aya down, she watched as the two jedi quickly destroyed the hand that was holding Aya. She noticed Benna fall out of the barrier she felt something strange inside herself, something she did not understand. The feeling soon turned to anger as she focused back on Zannah. Without saying anything she opened fire on Zannah again.

Benna finds herself just outside the barrier. Immidately she feels the pain that has claimed the dathomirians. Benna feels her most primal fear as a nightmare rapidly embracing her. Her mind freezes up. Eyes locked on Zannah - her saving grace. For the briefest moment her mind returns as if it breaks the iron grip of the nightmares Not yet Benna rushes back into barrier and attacks Zannah.
"SKYE! SHOOT THE SPIDERS!" Benna screams. Her words have never held such unclear distinction between panic and command.

As Aspen's light energy continued to heal the crew the radiance of the light energy coming from him suddenly seemed to effect Zannah as though the dark magic of the mist had began to wear off. Zannah seemed to look down for a moment distracted by the sensation one of her hands touched her chest as Lindrala made her way close to Zannah. As she drew close to her Zannah's gaze suddenly fell back upon Lindrala her glare was like ice. "Zannah... I am sorry." Suddenly the moment passes as Zannah's eye go black she screams and lunges at Lin. Quickly Lindrala spins around her and delivers a quick swift strike from her lightsaber decapitating Zannah. The dark energy spasms out of the lifeless corpse until her entire body suddenly disintegrated into dark mist which was forced from the barrier.

As all hostiles were defeated in the first part of the hall, the crew had clear way to proceed through the gate and enter deeper into the hall, where the mist is stronger. As the crew reforms and plans their next progress, Jadus monitors the battle on the screens in the main room of the fortress: "Our forces are making progress through the west and the east wing. The enemy will soon be wiped out. But I cannot say the same for the hall guarded by the coven. I sense that Nightingale is with them." Night Mother looks annoyed at Jadus: "They sent their strongest through the heart of the Fortress. Coven is strong enough to take care of them. Even if they survive, they will not be in full shape to face us. Death surrounds them, nothing living can survive in that mist because ..." And then Jadus interrupts her: "And this is why I am sending the droids into the mist to ensure our victory."

Lindrala quickly moves and takes her place next to Oyo at the edge of the barrier. "Aya come, this way." She signals her padawan over towards them then turns her attention back to the mist for whatever could be waiting.
