Mother grips her lightsaber pike and steps forward towards Zannah to finish her, as Karliah is being choked behind: "Fool. You should have heard me out when you could. Now Karliah will watch as I take life from you, the only creature left in her life that would follow her blindly." Mother raises her weapon in the air to strike Zannah down, as Karliah helplessly extends her hand wanting to reach for Zannah.

Not barring the thought of Zannah dying, Karliah summons the will to free herself from the Force Choke and lands on her feet. Mother stops in mid air with her weapon as she senses the growth in the Force energy behind her. She turns towards Karliah, rising her eyebrow at Karliah's hair floating in the air. Not really gently, Karliah uses the force to push downed Oyo and harmed Zannah away from the Mother to safer distance, outside of the summoning circle. Mother frowns and and channels force lighting, but Karliah grips the pact dagger, the one with Lindrala's blood flowing within it, and channels the power from the circle that binds Mother to the cave. From the circle green lighting forms and fires from all sides at the Mother. The Mother shapes her lighting into a sphere to protect herself from the powerful attacks of Karliah. Mother saw the determination of Karliah wanting to kill her, there was no more messing around, just like Karliah, the Mother started summoning all the power she has herself. Animals started fleeing the forest in herds, where Karliah's cave was located, and flocks of birds started covering the skies. Vibration covered the surface of the earthm and the cold chill or force energies clashing, cutting through Lindrala's senses so cold and deep, outside where she was in the village. The ground starts to shake at the summoning circle, and stone pikes start falling from the cave ceiling. Zannah could see that Karliah must sacrifice herself to rival Mother's power. Karliah gives her last glance at Zannah, straight into her eyes, before she closes them and gives in. When the power of both witches reached enormous level, it could no longer be contained within the circle, and the energy explodes, blasting Zannah and Oyo away from the circle, and collapsing all passages to it. Rocks and ceiling of cave collapses down upon the circle where the Mother and Karliah were. A women scream echoed the cave before going silent, and the force energies case into nothing. One witch survived, the Mother. She was in no condition to continue the fight, and with circle gone, nothing bound her to this place anymore. She takes the opportunity to escape. As Karliah fell, Zannah was disconnected from the Force for few moments, there was nothing to feel, nothing to sense, just an empty shell, and even if it was short, it felt like eternity.

Zannah collapsed to her knees, the feeling of nothingness began to pass but was replaced only by rage, a terrible pain that struck her deep to the core. Zannah's maddening  screams echoed through the forest. Karliah was destroyed one she thought was worth following and now again she was left with nothing.
"I'll kill her! I swear I will destroy her!" Zannah slams her fist into the ground as the frustration of defeat passes over her. Using the force she pulls her lightsabers back to herself. She pulls herself to her feet and turns to Oyo. "Get up! We have to find that bitch and kill her.!" Zannah's eyes burned with rage.

Lindrala sensed the chaotic energy from afar, she glanced at Aya Benna and Axo then back in the direction of Karliah's cave. "We have to move... now!" Lin began running back to the cave though deep inside she knew, it would be far too late.

The seriousness in Lindrala's voice was something Benna had not yet seen or felt in Lindrala's company and it gives Benna the impression that something is really wrong. Benna is looking at Aya and nods swiftly before she turns her head "Right behind you, Jedi" and sets off in a sprint.

Without a question Aya runs after Lindrala and returns nod to Benna. "Yes Master, I am with you." Something was wrong, there probably was not a single force sensitive creature on this planet that did not feel it.

Axo did not feel anything as strong to follow Lindrala, as he did not know her enough, nor felt anything unusual about the forest. But he was not stupid either. "Your friends are buying us time. Jadus' men will not report back and he will send another wave. Your friends are doing their job so we can do ours. Don't let their sacrifice be for nothing. We have to start repairing your ship now. It crashed on top of the spider's nest. I cannot go there alone."

She turns to Axo... "Benna, Aya escort Axo to the ship, I will join you as soon as I can, I cannot leave Oyo behind with the Sith and the Witch." She starts to move off then stops and turns back to them. "May the force be with you all."

Benna slows down and eventually brings her motion to a stop "Jedi..." Benna pauses This jedi would go back and face whatever made her make this decision head on. The way she did it even scared me. And not only that, now she wants to do it alone. That's the dumbest jedi I ever saw... and bravest. Benna continues. I don't know what's back there, but I can see in your eyes it's anything but good news. We split up in the first place and look where that got us. Benna walks up to Lindrala and grabs her arm in a persuasive manner not agressive I ask you to reconsider. Let's not split up again. Benna lets go of Lindrala.

Lindrala thinks on Benna's words but Lindrala does not want to risk more of the crew.
"Benna I... I know what you are saying I really do but you are right I made the choice, we need the ship working so we can get away, but I can't leave Oyo behind, please I need you to protect Aya and Axo, get the ship!" She places a hand on Benna's shoulder and smiles at her, then carries on her way.

"That... STUBBORN SENILE JEDI." Benna shakes her head as she turns around towards Aya and Axo. "We have our orders. Let's get that ship working"

Lindrala reaches the collapsed cave Karliah had summoned the mother, she caught glimpse of Zannah and Oyo, she called out, "Oyo!" And ran over to them.

Zannah heard Lin's voice her whole body became tense, the rage still swelling inside of her. She turned and charged at Lin who was already running over to her, she swung a punch at her hitting Lindrala in the face. "This is your fault, you fool! You idiotic Jedi filth! She is dead and it's because of you!" Zannah grabbed hold of her own head feeling the power inside her. She felt the desire to kill Lin.

Lindrala was caught off guard by the punch she staggered back as she saw Zannah's rage. "Zannah please, I thought we would defeat the enemy at every turn, I thought we would prevail, I'm sorry Karliah fell but we can still stop them!"

Affection lost: - 15 crew member lost

Zannah twitched in rage as Lindrala spoke to her, the words were like poison filling her with false idealism and false hope. "Karliah's vision believed you would be the one to destroy the mother, she was wrong and I watched her die... Because of you! Her determination and efforts led to her death, just as your determination will end up getting all of you killed..." Zannah closes her eyes and thinks of Benna been slain by Jadus forces. "No! You cannot win you will lead your crew to nothing but death, your words are poison and now I shall destroy you, Jedi scum!" Zannah ignited both of her lightsabers and began walking towards Lin. "We settle this here, and now!"

Lindrala quickly ignited her own lightsaber and fell back into her Soresu stance, Zannah circled her, her eyes became blood red with pain and rage. "It is not too late, stop this madness, just let go of your anger." Lindrala said calmly to Zannah. Zannah lunged at Lindrala and began striking at her, Lindrala blocked as the lightsabers locked together. "I shall let go when I watch you fall to the ground without your head." Zannah delivered a swift kick to Lin's stomach pushing her back, she span her lightsabers aggressively channeling all her hatred and aggression into her Juyo form. In an explosive flurry of speed and aggression Zannah unleashed her rage as she began striking at Lindrala's defense again and again. Lindrala remained calm against the storm, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to flow with the force. Even on Dathomir the light remained with her. She blocked and parried Zannah's strikes until finally an opening appeared. In a swift motion Lindrala kicked at Zannah's ankle and slashed at her offhand lightsaber instantly destroying it. Zannah flipped backwards away from Lindrala. "Your blind faith in the force will not save you from me!" Zannah ignited the other blade of her saber staff and charged at Lin once again. Their blades clashed together once again as Zannah continued on her assault, as determined to kill Lindrala just as Karliah was determined to destroy the mother. "Zannah, don't make me do this! You can still turn away!" Lin continued on the defense, after parrying another flurry of attacks another opening revealed itself. Lindrala delivered a swift back hand to Zannah knocking her backwards. Zannah was dazed by the strike for a moment though she quickly became more agitated. "The only thing I shall make you do Jedi, is die!" Zannah jumped spinning her saber staff above herself in the air she came crashing down on Lin as their blades locked together. The immense force on Lin was heavy, she could feel herself starting to tire, her age was catching up to her. Zannah sensed Lindrala's strength fading away slowly, she quickly pressed on the attack once more attempting to go for the final kill. Lindrala pushed out of the blade lock knowing she would have to go on the offensive as well she fell back into a Shii Cho stance. The two charged at each other and struck in an acrobatic display. Suddenly in immense speed Zannah delivered a knee into Lindrala's stomach briefly knocking her out of stance. Zannah slashed at Lindrala severing her left hand. The pain Lindrala felt was sharp but the sacrifice had left Zannah open, as Zannah struck at Lin severing her hand Lin quickly struck with her right hand which was still holding her lightsaber. She delivered a swift upward strike severing Zannah's staff saber and striking her across the chest. Shocked Zannah staggered back for a moment then lunged forward grabbing hold of Lindrala's neck attempting to strangle her. Lindrala ran her lightsaber through Zannah's stomach, the two of them remained looking each other in the eye. Zannah's grip on Lindrala was lost as Lin pushed her away. Zannah fell back on to one knee.

Zannah looked up to Lin, the anger still burning in her eyes... She coughed as she felt her life dimming.
"You... You Jedi... All of you shall burn in the end, Satele will have been broken by Jadus, nothing but your death awaits you..." Zannah felt her breath slowing... she moved her hand to her face mask and pulled it off as she dropped onto both knees, then slowly fell onto her back. She looked up at the dark sky, through the darkness of Dathomir she saw the stars. "Kar...li.ah... I... Failed... you... For... Forgive me." Zannah's last breath was spent as she fell silent. Zannah has died.
