Karliah takes Lindrala's hand, and what on first glance it would seem to be a handshake, the old Witch knew other ways of sealing the contract. She slips out a knife that cuts light wound on Lindrala's palm, and then she does them same to her own hand. Drops of blood from both, Lindrala and Karliah were now fused into the same blade, and through the blade the bloods enter the hilt made of a stone, making the stone glow red. "If Zannah wishes to aid you further she may chose to do so. But make no mistake, if she is harmed by you or your companionship, Mother and Jadus will not be your only threat that this world can offer. And now I must return to my chat. Bring me heart of the Forest Rancor that lives north from here. So that we can proceed towards next step in our plan."

Zannah bows before Karliah. "I shall continue to fight along side our allies my master." She rises and turns the crew. "I am ready when you are Jedi."

Oyo nods and then looks at Lindrala: "I am set to go, I just thought we'd have a hot good meal first."

Benna's looking at the group contemplating the comming adventure. The touch of Lindrala's hand on her shoulder suddenly calms Benna's inner turmoil. Benna looks Lindrala in the eyes and studies them for a bit. Their reflections tell a story of comfort and caring. Something Benna hasn't felt in a while. Benna shakes her head lightly return to her normal self. "Yeah. The reward." Benna turns away and starts readying herself for their adventure.

Since all were ready to go, the Crew makes their way north through the thick forest. Exploiting Zannah's knowledge of the wilds, the crew moved swiftly undetected in the night. Finally they approach territory of the Forest Rancor, where he is sleeping. If struck in sleep, rancor will receive +100% damage. But to approach him undetected, one must win Stealth +d20 vs 12 Awareness. But this rancor has high senses, and non silent movement can wake him up. (Oyo's survival success) The place he rests outside in the forest has some red herbs growing, that according to Oyo, can be used for self healing. The plant is redweed and by expending a standard action while next to redweed or on its square, the user may consume it to restore health for 10hp + Survival Total Rank + Medicine Total Rank.

Rancor suddenly opens eyes. Lindrala was not quiet enough with her footsteps. All sleep exploit are no longer avaiable, but crew that is skilled in stealth can still surprise the rancor. Rancor scans the area. It sees Lindrala and Oyo, and focuses at them. A quiet hostile growl is leaving rancor's closed mouth.

Seeing the Rancor awaken Zannah tries to move closer to the beast while remaining hidden.

Not that its difficult to sneak in heavy armor, but Oyo had no intend to hide from the beast anyway. He would rather challenge it face to face. Oyo follows after Lindrala.

Benna moved in stealth like a shadow. Not even her comrades could notice when she nears a redweed. With only two on sight, Rancor moves towards Lindrala and Oyo to attack them. When it swings with its claws, it covers a wide area attacking all targets in front of him, and at his sides. Having Lindrala charge in first, he was facing her first.

Lindrala was not fast enough to avoid the claws of huge beast. But Oyo's lightsaber defense was high enough for Rancor to not risk losing its claw.

Aya did not think twice to remain hidden once she saw her master was in trouble. She immediately ran towards her, tossing a healing force power.
