PostSubject: JEDI GUARDIAN   JEDI GUARDIAN EmptyThu 15 Dec - 11:39

A Jedi Guardian was the name given to one of the three distinct branches of Jedi, the other two being Jedi Consular and Jedi Sentinel. The Jedi Guardians skills and talents lay in battle, a light side mirror of the Sith Warrior.

Concentrating on martial training and combat, Guardians engaged in combat more than either of the other two classes of Jedi; the Consulars or the Sentinels. Descended from the Order's founders on Tython whose role in the galaxy was to defend the weak and uphold the laws of the Galactic Republic, the Guardians were often seen as representatives of the Order and the classic Jedi weapon: the lightsaber.

Focusing all their time and effort on honing their martial skills, Jedi Knights who chose to pursue the role of Guardian often built their lightsabers using a blue crystal; symbolizing solidarity and uniformity among this class, though it is not a requirement, just as using a classic Jedi weapon lightsaber is not a requirement either. Jedi Guardian is more than skilled to use almost any lightsaber weapon, such are short lightsabers or staff lightsabers.

Additionally, Soresu learned through this class itself is more efficient than Soresu outside of this class. Additional class specific bonuses are next:
1) +1 Saber Defense Roll per rank in Soresu Form
2) +1 Meter range per rank in Soresu Form when Protecting an Ally
3) Doubles damage reflected

In which order Jedi Guardian is going to select them is up to the player, but can select only one at the time. You can have 1 evolution perk at level 10, 2 evolution perks at level 20, and 3 evolution perks at level 30. Jedi Guardian loses all evolution perks if he does not have light side alignment.

(PERK A) FORCE BARRIER: Force barrier was a very basic application of the Force. Depending on the individual, it manifested itself differently, appearing as a shimmering, stasis field of Force energy, or sometimes not "appearing" at all. In combat, these barriers were capable of absorbing a wide variety of physical and energy attacks. Jedi Guardian may use a Force Barrier on self or another ally, that creates a force field with 10 points per Jedi Guardian class level. Damage reduction of Force Barrier is 10, or 15 if damage is of dark side source. After all force field points are destroyed, force barrier explodes, healing the target for 5hp per Jedi Guardian Class level as well as healing all creatures within 1 meter radius. Jedi Guardian can use Force Barrier 3 times per individual in a single battle.

(PERK B) PALADIN: Jedi Guardian learns to stand against dark side more than ever. He gains 50% Damage Reduction against damage inflicted by a dark side source. His allies gain 25% Damage Reduction against damage inflicted by a dark side source. Against all other sources 10% Damage Reduction is applied to everyone in party.

(PERK C) LIFE WARRIOR: Each time Jedi Guardian reflects a damage with Soresu, he may use same value of reflected damage as a healing energy, and divide it among party members.
